To Future Journeys! This Odyssey Officially Returns Home. Here’s To Ithaca! 🏠

The original plan was for The Ithaca to take it’s final trip home at the end of May, but RJ asked if she could keep it at our house for a bit longer. During that time she was making progress! After she had seen how the rims turned out on The Ohana she decided that The Ithaca needed a bit of appeal on the wheels.

At this point, Laura and I had found a truck bed cargo net made of bungees. We installed grab hooks around the bottom area of the bar so it could be utilized as a storage area when not being used for chillaxing.

Once we were done with that, she started making her curtains, and they turned out to be an awesome compliment to her cabinet door colors!

Here is how the camper turned out. 😁

She also painted the bathroom up nicely as well!

I especially like the matching mirror and cabinet doors. πŸ‘

With that, it was time for The Ithaca to head out from our house for it’s last round of maintenance and go to it’s final home. RJ had made a geotextile parking spot for it to snug into behind her house.

She trimmed out the bathroom, giving the edges a nice clean look.

And so the Ithaca was ready for some adventures!

RJ is still working on it, making it sweeter all the time. I will do occasional updates on The Ithaca here and there- but with this Laura and My Own’s chapter with The Ithaca was done, and RJ’s adventures were just beginning!
